The Kristen Cashore books are some of my favorite, because I agree with Alisa that they are a complicated universe, and my favorite is actually Bitterblue. I’m a huge fan of both Alisa’s Picture Me Reading blog where she illustrates her book reviews and Aidan’s Chair With A Panda blog where he reviews Doctor Who television episodes, movies, and tie-in books. This is an entertaining read, nothing deep. Lizzie is also a "tracker" and is needed to home in on the "Stones" which have shape shifted. Lizzie is now living in the house her Aunt Ophelia left her (in Salem, MA) with a one eyed cat.Lizzie works at Dazzle's Bakery & is the Best Cupcake Baker there is. The "Stones" are magickal embodiments of the Seven Deadly Sins Gluttony, Avarice, Pride, Anger, Sloth, Envy, Lust. Wicked Appetite, by Janet Evanovich Hot Off the Press!ĭiesel (the Good Guy) & his (cousin) Gerwulf Grimoire (the Baddie), are Unmentionables and they are searching for the "Stones" (Not Mick Jagger.okay).
